I am delighted that Lisa Maxwell will be a guest speaker on our Rising Stars panel @ our *2nd Annual General Counsel Summit* in London on 23 May hosted at the offices of CMS.  Lisa together with our other panelists will discuss their career journeys, lessons learned and leadership.

About Lisa

Lisa is currently Senior Legal Counsel at Informa PLC.  Informa PLC is a leading business intelligence, academic publishing, knowledge and events business which is a member of the FTSE 100. Her career began at Slaughter and May where she trained and qualified, specialising in corporate law, completing deals such as the Cadbury Schweppes listing and demerger, and the restructuring and sale of Northern Rock.

Prior to her role at Informa PLC, Lisa was Assistant Counsel at a listed drinks company, C&C Group plc, supporting the business in  commercial matters as well as on key acquisitions. In addition to her corporate and commercial remit in her current role Lisa also has a keen interest in intellectual property law and data privacy. Lisa holds a BA and MA in Modern History from Lincoln College, Oxford University.

Helena Donohoe is the founder and managing partner of Donohoe & Co.

Helena specialises in all aspects of private family law, particularly cases with an international element. She has dealt with cases involving competing jurisdictions across the world, including Monaco, Thailand, Cyprus, Spain, France, UAE, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

She obtained her law degree from the London School of Economics and passed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction. She trained with a “City” firm and worked for a wide range of practices before setting up her own boutique family law firm in March 2010.

She is admitted as a solicitor in Ireland in addition to practicing in England and Wales.
