I am delighted to announce the launch of a New Initiative: “Networking Programme for Lawyers“.

To Partners in Law Firms – the next time you are thinking of sending your Junior Associates to a Networking Event, Drinks Evening, Charity Ball, you might consider hiring me [Colin] to attend the function with them.

 

 

Why Hire Me [ Colin ] ?

We all know that it is not easy to walk into a room full of strangers and start mingling / striking up conversations / networking straight away.

If your Junior Associates attend an event with another colleague from your office the temptation is that the two of them stay talking to each other and don’t speak to anybody else!

That great new client for your Law Firm could have only been a few paces away, if only your Lawyers had plucked up the courage to speak to them.

If you were to ask me to attend the function with say two of your Associates, I could help and encourage your Lawyers to have conversations with people in the room.  I could start conversations with people at the function / event and introduce your lawyers to those people.  So in a sense I could be both a networking trainer and connector at the same time.

I know several Law Firms provide networking skills training to their Lawyers but the best way to learn how to network is to simply START networking (and in the “real-world” away from the Law Firm).
