Jeff Bullwinkel

Jeff

Jeff Bullwinkel serves as Microsoft’s Associate General Counsel and Regional Director of Corporate, External & Legal Affairs for Europe.  He is based in Amsterdam and oversees the company’s legal and corporate affairs teams across the region, providing support for commercial transactions and regulatory counsel on public policy issues such as IPR, cybersecurity, competition, and international trade.  Mr. Bullwinkel joined Microsoft in 2000 and previously held a number of senior roles with the company across the Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Bullwinkel was with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, an international law firm based in New York.  Mr. Bullwinkel also served as a federal prosecutor with the Office of International Affairs, Criminal Division, US Department of Justice, where he was responsible for a wide range of matters relating to international law.

Mr. Bullwinkel is originally from the New York area.  He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received his law degree from New York University.  He is a member of the New York State Bar.

Mr. Bullwinkel recently celebrated 25 year of marriage to his wife Kimberly and they have two fabulous kids (a boy who’s 20 and a girl who’s 18).


Justine Campbell

Justine Campbell is Deputy Group General Counsel and Head of Secretariat for Centrica plc, with responsibility for the management of the Group’s legal function and the provision of legal and regulatory support to Centrica plc and to multiple business units across the Group and to the corporate centre.  She is also responsible for leading the Group Company Secretariat function, supporting board and committee administration and advising on issues of corporate governance and compliance.

Justine also led Centrica’s response to the two year investigation by the Competition & Markets Authority into the UK energy sector, the most detailed review of the market since privatisation.  She has extensive experience of regulated markets, including energy, insurance and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Centrica, Justine was Corporate & External Affairs Director of Vodafone UK for 5 years.  She has been involved in the telecommunications industry for some years, having spent 7 years at O2/Telefonica, the final two as European General Counsel.

Justine qualified as a solicitor with Freshfields, in London and Brussels and holds a law degree from Trinity College, Dublin and an advanced management qualification from the Said Business School, Oxford.  She is a member of the advisory council of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London.

Justine lives in Winchester and is married with 3 children.


Sabine Chalmers

Sabine Chalmers is the General Counsel of BT Group Plc, one of the world’s largest communications companies listed on the FTSE with headquarters in London.

Prior to BT, Sabine was the Chief Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Anheuser-Busch InBev, one of the world’s top five consumer products companies and the leading global brewer, from 2005 – 2017.

In addition to her more than a decade at Anheuser-Busch InBev, she served in a number of leadership positions, including General Counsel of the Latin American and U.S. Businesses at Diageo plc, the world’s largest producer of spirits from 1993 – 2004. She also worked in private practice at the law firm of Lovell White Durrant and was a lecturer at University College, London. Sabine holds a law degree from the London School of Economics and is qualified to practice in England and NY State.

She serves on numerous boards, including those of Coty, Inc., one of the worlds largest consumer beauty companies; the Royal National Theatre London; and is a former chairman of the Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the largest not-for-profit professional association serving the business interests of in-house attorneys around the world with more than 34,000 members in 85 countries.

An American citizen of Indian and German origin, she has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Sabine has been married for 25 years to Richard (a British/American citizen) and they have one daughter, Natasha, who is 18 years old.


Reggie Davis

Reggie leads DocuSign’s award-winning Legal and Risk Compliance team(s) in driving acceptance and adoption of DocuSign’s System of Agreement and digital signatures across all business verticals and the public sector.  As Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer as well as General Counsel, Reggie spends much of his time focused on privacy, data and corporate authorizations and certifications.   DocuSign recently went public as one of the largest historical IPOs in the SaaS vertical.  Reggie regularly hosts colloquiums at DocuSign on becoming “The Digital General Counsel” which focus on the digital transformation of the in-house practice of law and the impacts of A.I., Blockchain, Legal Operations, eDiscovery, eBilling, etc.

In 2010, Reggie was an award winner of The Recorder’s “2010 Attorneys of the Year.”  In 2012, Reggie’s team was named “Most Innovative Legal Team” by Inside Counsel Magazine.  In 2013, the Silicon Valley Business Journal honored Reggie as “General Counsel of the Year.”  In May 2016, Reggie was named “In-House Impact” General Counsel by The Recorder legal publication.  In December 2016, Reggie was named “Innovative General Counsel” by the Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers report.

Prior to joining DocuSign, Reggie served as general counsel and EVP at Zynga.  Prior to Zynga, Reggie spent 9 years at Yahoo! where he served as vice president, search operations, and before that as Associate General Counsel managing Litigation, Security and Risk Management. Prior to Yahoo!, Reggie was a litigation partner at Hancock Rothert & Bunshoft (presently known as Duane Morris).

Reggie received his JD from Tulane School of Law and his AB with Honors in European History and Sociology from Harvard University.

Reggie joined DocuSign after taking a year off from work, during which he backpacked around the world with his wife Rebecca and their four sons. The highlights of this family adventure were visiting tiger and elephant sanctuaries in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.


Monica Risam

Monica Risam is the General Counsel of Lombard International where she has responsibility for legal, company secretarial, risk and compliance and regulatory affairs.

Monica joined Lombard International from Aviva plc, where she held the positions of General Counsel & Company Secretary of Aviva UK Life, General Counsel, Aviva Group and General Counsel, Aviva Europe.

Prior to joining Aviva, Monica spent seven years at GE Capital where she held a variety of senior roles. She began her legal career as an associate with Weil, Gotshal & Manges in London and New York, and is dual-qualified to practise law in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Monica is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and The George Washington University in Washington DC. She is also a non-executive member of the Elton John Aids Foundation’s Finance & Investment Committee.


Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart is General Counsel at Manchester United.

He originally worked in private practice in Scotland before taking up an in-house role in Switzerland with TEAM Marketing, a leading sports marketing agency. In that role he was responsible for negotiating commercial  partnerships for the UEFA Champions League.

Patrick joined Manchester United in 2006 to set-up an in-house legal function. The team is now 11 strong and responsible for managing all of the club’s legal issues. Patrick is also a member of the Premier League’s Legal Advisory Group and Medical Working Group.

Lory is a managing director with ConsenSys and leads ConsenSys Ireland. He is passionate about Ethereum enabling a decentralised world.

He has over 11 years cross-industry consulting experience. Prior to ConsenSys he was a director with Deloitte and founded and ran Deloitte’s EMEA blockchain lab based out of Dublin. He also spent 5 years with Accenture.

Lory is a Qualified Financial Adviser, registered stockbroker and is currently (and has been for the past 10+ years) an adjunct assistant professor in Strategic Management and Information Systems with the Department of Computer Science in Trinity College Dublin.
