Good afternoon,

I am delighted to be celebrating our 5th year running the international lawyers’ photography competition. Over the years, I have received travel photos from lawyers in London, Dublin, Paris, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco. The winners of our previous competitions have been announced at receptions hosted at two international law firms in London – Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and CMS. If you have a travel photo, I’d love to see it 🙂

Hi Colin – here’s an entry for your annual lawyers photo competition – it was taken while snorkelling in Bunaken Island Indonesia last summer. The manager of the hotel ran a scheme to pay the local people for wild turtle eggs (instead of them being sold for food) and he spends his spare time training them to find deep water before releasing into the wild. It’s a win win for all as it gives the fishermen a revenue stream and helps increase the no’s of young turtles that survive. This picture was taken when he invited my kids and I to snorkel with them as part of their training.

Prize

For two years running our top prize was a fabulous 2 night stay in the luxury boutique hotel, Vivenda Miranda perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean in the Algarve, Portugal. Our top prize has yet to be confirmed but I’m hoping we will have another amazing prize this year. 🙂
