About Simon Hollywood
Simon Hollywood is Associate General Counsel and Vice President Legal for ICON plc. Simon joined ICON in 2010 and leads a multi-disciplinary global legal team of 25 legal professionals that provide legal support and advice to multiple ICON business lines. Simon began his legal career as a trainee with A&L Goodbody before qualifying into the firm’s corporate department. He subsequently joined Leman Solicitors corporate department before moving in-house with ICON. Simon graduated with a Bachelor of International Law and Masters in Commercial Law from University College Dublin.

Sarah Lennon
Google – General Counsel, Ireland & Northern Ireland
Sarah Lennon serves as Google’s General Counsel for Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Based in Dublin, she provides round-the-clock legal counsel for Google’s European HQ, which employs over 8,000 people.
Sarah advises on a broad array of issues from launching Google’s innovative products in Ireland to managing high profile litigation that helps shape platform liability law and the free exchange of information.
Sarah also regularly represents Google with regulators, government and other outside influencers to help foster a greater understanding of Google’s products and advocate for a pro-innovation approach to the regulation of online technologies.
A graduate from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Civil Law and Masters of Law, Sarah began her career with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors. She then moved in-house to work as the sole legal counsel for a Northern Irish tech start-up before joining Google in 2014. Sarah was also recognised as “Lawyer of the Year” in the 2017 Irish Early Career Awards.
Ruth Murphy
Chief Counsel, BT Enterprise
Ruth is Chief Counsel, BT Enterprise, and sits on the Management Team of its Major & Public Sector Division, supporting large businesses and public sector organisations across the UK and Ireland to deliver on their digital transformation agendas. BT Enterprise has a turnover of over £6.5bn and 17,000 people. Ruth leads a team of lawyers that provide strategic, risk savvy, customer-centric advice on customer, supplier and commercial matters.
Ruth is a BT lead for Diversity and Inclusion and is BT’s Partner Champion for Lean In Circles. She is passionate about the need for better gender balance and tapping into the full potential of men and women in the corporate world, including the impact it can have on employee engagement, brand awareness and customer retention as well as business and financial outcomes. She is also a huge believer in the importance of nurturing the next generation and giving them the opportunity to display and hone their talents, acting as Chairperson of the Judges for the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, one of the longest standing science and technology exhibitions of its kind in the world.
Ruth graduated with an honours degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin and is on the Legal500 GC Powerlist for Most Influential Lawyers in Business. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1999 and started her career with Eversheds as a Commercial Lawyer. Ruth lives in Dublin with her husband Dave and their two boys, Jack and Tom.
Lory Kehoe
Managing Director with ConsenSys
Lory is a managing director with ConsenSys and leads ConsenSys Ireland. He is passionate about Ethereum enabling a decentralised world.
He has over 11 years cross-industry consulting experience. Prior to ConsenSys he was a director with Deloitte and founded and ran Deloitte’s EMEA blockchain lab based out of Dublin. He also spent 5 years with Accenture.
Lory is a Qualified Financial Adviser, registered stockbroker and is currently (and has been for the past 10+ years) an adjunct assistant professor in Strategic Management and Information Systems with the Department of Computer Science in Trinity College Dublin.
Nigel Kemp
General Counsel of Citibank Europe plc
Nigel is a Managing Director and has been with the Citi Legal Department for 20 years.
In 2016, Nigel was appointed to a newly expanded role, based in Dublin, as Citibank Europe Plc General Counsel .
This encompasses : (1) the creation and development of a Product based Legal Department focusing on custody, funds, and private banking; and (2) senior legal support for the management and governance of Citibank Europe plc and the bank`s interface with both regulators and (EU) legislators.
Nigel has led legal teams covering Transaction Services businesses and has had oversight of Technology Legal functions. More recently Nigel has managed regulatory reform initiatives such as client asset protection, EU funds regulation, the regulation of financial markets and resolution and recovery.
Nigel has been with Citi since 1996 , prior to which he was and banking and restructuring lawyer at Hogan Lovells in London and Hong Kong.
Nigel is a history graduate of King’s College London.
Jennifer Hourihane
CEO & Founder of Oathello
Jennifer is a qualified solicitor and spotted the Oathello opportunity from first-hand experience.
- an Honours BCL Clinical degree in Law and the Southern Law Association scholarship at University College Cork, placements at international law firm Bonn Schmitt in Luxembourg, Ronan Daly Jermyn in Cork, and admission to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 2014 where she practiced law at Byrne Wallace and A&L Goodbody before founding the business. Areas of specialisation included Banking and Corporate M&A.
- In 2017 she was listed by the Sunday Independent as one of Irelands most exciting business stars under 30 and for the next decade intends to lead the charge in automation for her industry. Irish Business Stars Under 30, the first Irish Female Founder admitted to the Barclays Techstars Accelerator in London and a proud alumni of the AIB Start Up Academy
