3rd International Lawyers’ Photography Awards: Photo from Kay KW Pang General Counsel (APAC) at Cloudera

Photo from Kay K. W Pang

General Counsel (APAC) at Cloudera

Singapore

Thanks to Kay K.W Pang, General Counsel (APAC) at Cloudera in Singapore, for entering the above photo in our 3rd International Lawyers’ Photography Awards.  Kay’s photo is of the Singapore CBD skyline.  Her photo “was taken one fine morning, as I was cycling across the Helix Bridge with a friend just at daybreak“.

Kay also sent me in another photo which she took moments after the one above.  Kay said “moments later the sun rose and turned the entire landscape into luscious gold. The interesting looking building is the Singapore Art-Science Museum, shaped to look like a lotus flower, symbolizing mental and spiritual awakening, amongst other things.

One More  Photo

Kay also sent me over this beautiful photo:

Kay said:

“This is a shot of the Arashimaya bamboo forest in Kyoto, Japan. It was a rain-soaked day yet the bamboo trees still stand strong yet flexible and elegant, exuding calmness and serenity. (Did you know that the bamboo was the only plant that survived the radiation of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima? Bamboo forests also helped shielded my mother’s family as they hid from the Japanese soldiers in WWII)”
