About Richard Given
Richard Given is general counsel of the fintech company 10x Future Technologies Limited founded by the former CEO of Barclays, Antony Jenkins, where he is helping create a new banking experience – one that is more diverse, open and fair.
Previously Richard was deputy general at the global bank, HSBC where he built, from scratch, a legal function of over 50 employees to support the operations of HSBC worldwide. Before HSBC, Richard was director of legal at the IT company Cisco. His role was to manage the legal team across LATAM, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Central Eastern Europe, Russia/CIS and Pakistan.
Richard is an alumni of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and of Cambridge University.

Last year more than 150 lawyers from around the world submitted beautiful photos. The theme was also travel.

- 2nd Prize: Michael Friedman an attorney at Kobre & Kim in New York won 2nd prize with his beautiful photo (shown above).
- 3rd Prize: Clemence Dillange a lawyer in Paris.
- 4th Prize: Gareth Byrne, Associate General Counsel, EMEA at WhatsApp in Dublin.
- 5th Prize Peter Mallon, lawyer at MJ Hudson in London
