It is my favourite small boutique hotel in the Algarve. Last Saturday night, I had a wonderful meal in this little gem of a hotel overlooking the ocean. Whoever ends up winning this prize is in for a real treat. 🙂

Our 1st Annual Lawyers’ Photography Competition – 2016
There was a great reaction to our competition last year with lawyers sending us in photos from all around the world. We had a wonderful JUDGE – Laurence McMahon (a former lawyer and now a professional commercial photographer based in Dublin).
Laurence had a difficult job deciding on 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in our competition.

Fiona’s photograph taken on a river in Cambodia caught my eye. It has a painterly feel to it. Love the muted tones and moody nature which are amplified by the stillness of the water. I am wondering what is around the corner.

According to our Judge:
Eleanor’s photograph of horses on a beach in Donegal, Ireland grabbed my attention. I like the panoramic crop which really suited this photo. Like the feeling of space and the colour of the sand as against the sky.

Nicely captured. A lovely summery feel with the blues and greens. Like the way the focus is on steps with island in background. Tells a nice story.
