Good afternoon,
We had a great reaction to our LBDC Lawyers’ Photography Competition.
Stuning photos were submitted by lawyers living and working in
(i) London (ii) Dublin (iii) New York and (iv) San Francisco
We had a wonderful JUDGE – Laurence McMahon (an ex lawyer and professional commercial photographer based in Dublin). Laurence had a difficult job choosing our winning photo and runner up photographs.

Our JUDGE, Laurence McMahon said:
Fiona’s photograph taken on a river in Cambodia caught my eye. It has a painterly feel to it. Love the muted tones and moody nature which are amplified by the stillness of the water. I am wondering what is around the corner.

Our Judge said:
Eleanor’s photograph of horses on a beach in Donegal, Ireland grabbed my attention. I like the panoramic crop which really suited this photo. Like the feeling of space and the colour of the sand as against the sky.

Our Judge said:
Nicely captured. A lovely summery feel with the blues and greens. Like the way the focus is on steps with island in background. Tells a nice story.
