Jonathan Bowman-Perks, the “CEO’s Trusted Leadership Advisor”,  is valued by leaders for his expertise in inspiring them to positively impact their teams and organisations. He is a master coach, executive team facilitator, motivational speaker, philanthropist and author.

Jonathan focuses on high performance leaders and teams in the Corporate, Financial, University, Entrepreneurial and Retail sectors; bringing commercial acumen and leadership tips from his wide experience of development.  He works with his wife and Business Partner Leigh Bowman-Perks and also Dr Reuven Bar-On (Emotional Intelligence expert) and the three of them together developed the “Inspiring Leadership” model and 21st-century leadership psychometric.  He advises and coaches CEOs and leaders to recognise and use their talents and vulnerabilities in order to transform their businesses.

Jonathan is Visiting Professor in Leadership at the Cass Business School in London. He teaches on the Global Executive MBA Programme at Manchester business School. He has also taught leadership programmes with practical tips and techniques at University College London and Les Roche International Management School Switzerland.

Jonathan is respected for the work he has done with CEOs and executives across many private and public sector organisations such as: Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Mars Inc, HSBC, KPMG, John Lewis, Siemens, Asda, Nestle, Christies, Sainsbury’s, Barclays, O2/Telefonica, Vodafone, Hilton worldwide, Amazon, The Economist, Oracle, Airbus, Rio Tinto, Lloyds, the Foreign Office and Cambridge University.

He is the author of Inspiring Leadership: Leadership Lessons from My Life (2010), and contributed to the book published by Leigh Bowman-Perks Inspiring Women Leaders (2014). All profits go to their charity the Inspiring Leadership Trust helping vulnerable women and children around the world.

He was Assistant to the Head of the British Army, Chief of Staff of the Army’s largest Brigade and commanded his Company on 3 operational tours. He worked in PwC, IBM and as Penna PLC’s MD of Board and Executive Coaching. HM the Queen awarded him the MBE for his services to leadership in training UN leaders who helped prevent the East Timor massacre.

Jonathan and Leigh live and work in the City of London during the week and relax in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside at the weekends with their four children-2 daughters at Cambridge and Bangor University, a daughter in Teaching and their son with the Metropolitan Police.
