I am delighted to be celebrating our 5th year running the international lawyers’ photography competition. Over the years, I have received travel photos from lawyers in London, Dublin, Paris, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco. The winners of our previous competitions have been announced at receptions generously hosted at two international law firms in London – Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and CMS. In June 2017, she was awarded the M.B.E. (Member of the Order of the British Empire) by HRH Queen Elizabeth II for services to diversity in the legal profession and to young people. She received her M.B.E. from the Prince of Wales at an investiture ceremony which took place at Buckingham Palace in December 2017.

She received an honorary doctorate of laws from the University of Hertfordshire in September 2019 for her contributions to social and corporate diversity.

Prize

For two years running our top prize was a fabulous 2 night stay in the luxury boutique hotel, Vivenda Miranda perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean in the Algarve, Portugal. Our top prize has yet to be confirmed but I’m hoping we will have another amazing prize this year. 🙂
