I am thrilled that Professor Ian Robertson, author of “The Winner Effect” will be our guest speaker at our Dublin launch of the LBDC | Lawyers’ Business Development Club |. The venue for the Launch will the stunning Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club.

Professor Ian Robertson: Profile
Ian Robertson holds the Chair in Psychology at Trinity College Dublin.
He was formerly a senior scientist at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit and a fellow of Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge. He is a Visiting Professor at University College London and Bangor University and is a Visiting Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute, University of Toronto.
A trained clinical psychologist (Institute of Psychiatry, London), he holds a PhD in neuropsychology from the University of London. His research focuses on behaviour change and brain plasticity: he has more than 200 published books, textbooks and articles, including in Nature, Brain, Journal of Neuroscience and Psychological Bulletin.
A former science writer for the London Times, his multiply-translated popular science books include Mind Sculpture (Bantam, 1999), the Mind’s Eye (Bantam 2002) and The Winner Effect (Bloomsbury 2012 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Winner-Effect-Power-Affects-Brain/dp/1408824736).
He blogs for the US-based Psychology Today and is Director of the Neurenhancement for Independent Lives (NEIL) programme at Trinity College Dublin.
